I am currently sitting in Burger King at Glasgow’s Queen Street train station. I have just returned from the Apple Store where the news isn’t good but isn’t bad.

Yesterday, I tried to replace the RAM in my MacBook Pro. I’ve obviously nicked a cable somewhere along the line as it would no longer power on.

Fast forward to today. The member of staff I spoke to at the Apple Store couldn’t have been more friendly. After she took the laptop behind the mystical Apple walls, she brought it back out where we were immediately faced with a kernel panic. Second boot: there was life. All my files and stuff are all still intact. Just to be sure the member of staff (Nicole, I think her name was) ran a diagnostics test where more problems were encountered.

So, the MacBook is spending a few nights at the store and will hopefully be felling better soon. It’s going to be weird without it. If you’re trying to get in contact with me, it might take a little longer because all I will have is my phone.

Forgot to mentions on the last blog, I have also started work on a new teaser trailer. I have a few people in mind to ‘act’ in it. This one will be a lot more viral than the previous, and has quite a few callbacks to ‘Cloverfield’. Expect to see it in a few weeks (if weather permits and I can actually film it).

Hello one and all.

Progress is slow. Production has pretty much ground to a halt as graded unit at college consumes our lives. That said, plans are in motion to hit filming head on as soon as it’s over. 

Earlier this week I purchased a huge green screen and lighting kit, one of the last things we needed to buy. If I get bored I might put a video on YouTube soon trying it out.

Some scenes will involve a large amount of extras, so expect repeated calls for your help throughout the Summer. And once again, I’ll put out another shout for anybody who is wanting to help out. We could use all the help we can.
